A vast
majority of the Worlds Street Children live in India, where we see the worst
form of exploitation.
It is very unfortunate that we are one
of the Nations where children live in utmost distress and under abysmal
conditions. Majority of our Children are
malnourished and made to beg on the streets or die pathetically.
I sincerely appreciate the holistic and highly committed approach to the
issues of Children matters very professionally brought by Dr. Kodur
Venkatesh. The critical facts and
remedial measures have been impressively brought out in this book and I am sure
that every reader would finds the subject matter interesting and provide them
the insight and motivational spirit to change factors to the advantage of
