SOCIAL DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PERSONS WITH DISABILITY AND THEIR REHABILITATION IN KARNATAKA

            We indebted to the persons with all kinds of disabilities who not only answered the interview schedules honestly but also cooperated in the process of desired social discrimination and rehabilitation services in Karnataka state among the Persons with Disabilities. We extend our most sincere thanks to different rehabilitation and professional personnel working in rehabilitation, social work and sociology disciplines for having agreed not only to respond enthusiastically but also to discuss various effective methods. They also agreed to discuss the research design to see the desired social discrimination and rehabilitation services available to the disabled persons who have challenges in the present world.
            We thankful to VRC, Directorate of Welfare of Disabled, APD, NAB, Association for the Mentally Challenged, Sumanhalli Society, Special Employment Exchange for Physically Handicapped, Mobility India, Dr. Chandra Shekar Institute for Speech and Hearing, DDRC Tumkur, etc, colleagues and professionals and well wishers in the field of vocational rehabilitation who helped a lot in many other ways to complete this work.
