FOREWORD
I have no hesitation in agreeing that
the Children of our country are our greatest assets, and we all are equally
responsible in whatever manner we bring them up.
It is very unfortunate that we are one of the
Nations where children commit suicide due to our inability to understand them
or discover their hidden potentials. High expectations of parents, all forms of
exploitation of children leads to this tragic state of affairs. live in utmost distress and under abysmal
conditions. Majority of our Children are
malnourished and made to beg on the streets or die pathetically.
Dr. Kodur Venkatesh, makes a earnest effort to
bring out various studies and facts on why teens commit suicide resulting in untold sorrow and
grief to all concerned. This book shall
help everyone to understand the issue critically and help children reach shores
of success. Our Education system must change to rediscover the creativity in
our kids. Each child is a genius and
treasure by themselves and we all must leave it to them to choose the careers
of their choice.
